Whether you’re a returning skater or getting back into the game after a few years off, the Over 35 League at Carolina Ice Palace is always looking for players. Here’s how to get involved.
Who can play
The league is open to any hockey player aged 35 and over. Skill levels vary from players easing back into the game to seasoned skaters — the league keeps rosters balanced so games stay fun and competitive.
Two ways to sign up
- Full team — already have a group? Register as a team and claim your spot in the league.
- Free agent — no team, no problem. Sign up on your own and the league office will place you with a team that needs skaters.
What to expect
Every season includes a full slate of regular-season games across two sheets of ice — the Palace and Royal rinks — followed by a single-elimination playoff bracket seeded by the final standings. Goalies of any level are always welcome and often play at a discount.
